Apologia Christi

The great challenge for evangelicalism is to integrate the horizontal with the vertical. This is true both metaphysically and practically. In praxis our reaching out to alleviate the material needs of others should not be subordinated to the world's need of reconciliation with God. Metaphysically, revelation should be given a place in a robust epistemology that enables us to speak the language of people today, be engaged with discussion that are going on in the world, and be conversant with current science and philosophy.
